  • Ricky W. Griffin holds the Jeanne & John R. Blocker Chair in Business and is University Distinguished Professor of Management in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
  • His research has appeared in Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and several other leading journals.
  • Professor Griffin has served as both Associate Editor and then Editor of the Journal of Management.
  • He has also edited several scholarly books, most recently The Dark Side of Organizational Behavior.
  • Griffin is currently involved in research projects related to the topics of talent management and emergent leadership.
  • Serves as Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Oxford Bibliographies Online, an internet-based resource currently used by several hundred global university libraries.
  • Received BBA from North Texas State University, 1972; MBA University of Houston, 1975; PhD from the University of Houston, 1978.
