While at Navarro was involved in several student organizations: Choir, Dramatic Club, Tennis, El Navarro and The Growl, and Phi Theta Kappa.

He was President of the Student Council.

He was voted Sophomore Class Favorite and Who’s Who of Navarro.

Met his wife at Navarro College.

He graduated from Navarro in 1952.

After Navarro, Ted graduated from the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He was a minister at various churches in Texas and was the Director of the Texas Mental Health Association where he was instrumental in organizing many programs for the MHMR Association.
